Unverified experiment. Recheck the clue text and the current build before turning in a valuable cipher.
Official boundary
Official: the reviewed launch and store material establish the live extraction game and continuing updates. They do not provide a public cipher reward table, probability chart, or guaranteed-value claim.
Community-reported bonus behavior
Community: recent players report special dialogue and an additional material when a clue is taken to its thematic NPC. Several reports describe the extra reward as limited on a per-NPC basis.
Claims not safe to publish as fact
- Unknown: exact currency or item quantities for every cipher.
- Unknown: a fixed probability of receiving a higher-rarity reward.
- Unknown: whether the reported first-time limit is identical across all platforms and current patches.
A reproducible check
Capture the cipher clue, chosen NPC, pre-turn-in inventory, dialogue, and post-turn-in inventory. Repeat only with a different cipher and report the game version; otherwise a reward claim cannot be separated from memory or patch drift.
